Carl Sagan, an early hero of mine, said that to bake an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe. To the extent I have found my way, it is because I have been guided by honorable and wise mentors who retained their character and integrity long after they stopped needing anything from anyone.

As a beneficiary of their kindness, I’m a staunch advocate of paying it forward. My favorite way of paying it forward is talking to young professionals – we’re all just figuring it out, so it would be my pleasure to help you today; hoping that you will help someone tomorrow.
